Admissions Requirements

The first step for all 4th-7th grade students is to establish their eligibility for participation in Baylor TIP programming. Admissions requirements for students entering grades 4–7 vary depending on the summer program they choose. Super Saturday programming is open to anyone, even those not admitted to Baylor TIP. Beginning the summer before entering 8th grade, Baylor TIP summer programming is limited to those students who have been identified as Baylor TIP Scholars.

Programming

During the school year students in grades 4-7 may attend Super Saturday courses without admission to Baylor TIP. During the summer these students have two programming options: Baylor TIP Intermediate and DECATS at Baylor. Each of these programs has different admission requirements and a different daily structure.

Super Saturdays

Looking for something exciting and educational to do on a Saturday this school year? Join us on campus for one of our amazing Super Saturdays! Students in grades 1-12 can make new friends while growing their skills and knowledge in Saturday classes hosted by Baylor TIP! All gifted students are welcome to enroll.

Baylor TIP Intermediate

Baylor TIP Intermediate classes are designed specifically for Baylor TIP Scholars who will be entering grades 4-7. Students will be in one class for 3 hours per day, Monday-Friday, in person on Baylor's campus. A residential option is not available for this age group.

DECATS Summer Camp

DECATS at Baylor is a 3-week program in July. Our program hours are 8:30am to 3:15pm Monday through Friday. Students must be able to provide proof of gifted identification upon registration.

Need based financial aid is available. In most cases, these financial awards will be partial scholarships. Receiving a full or partial scholarship for one student does not guarantee it for another. Similarly, receiving aid this year does not guarantee it for other programming that we offer.
